Big V. Saves The Day

WTF? Why is it that things have to be so unreasonably difficult right now? I can't find time to write, do things I like, or even think right now. I am too busy chasing after a pain-in-the-ass 14 year old. Really I should be proud. At 14 he is causing more trouble in my life than ANYONE ever has. EVER! He constantly lies and deceives....even when he doesn't have to. It's pathological, I swear. It's also making me LOONEY TOONS! Sweet goddess give me strength. Things are fine as long as I stay home and watch him like a hawk. Fine meaning I am suspicious, angry, and generally uptight. This is no way to live. But what are the options? I need a weekend away, but I can't do that...not telling what trouble he would find. I wish I had a little help here.

Well, I finally did it...I cut my hair off and I couldn't be happier. I will post a new pic with the new do in a few days (okay, I know I procrastinate, but I promise I will get to it.) The reason it is going to take days is because my sweet little puppy baby girl (seen in pictures in past posts) decided to chew up the USB connector cord to my camera. I tried to find one on Fuji's website, but they didn't have them there. I ended up getting one from eBay because I couldn't find one anywhere else. I would have to pick the one Fuji camera that needs the super fancy cord. Geez. At any rate, I ordered it today so sometime this week or next. Who knows?

I am not dating at the moment. I had one date with this guy, but for some reason things just didn't click like they should. I did get a call from my sometimes-when-he-is-in-town boyfriend asking me to spend the winter hanging out with him. He is a bit of a celebrity in the horse racing circles. No, he is not a jockey. Anyway, Gulfstream Park here in Hallandale has been completely rebuilt. It is going to be a great season here and I get to be part of the fun. See, Big V. only comes to town when the circus that is horse racing at GulfStream Park is in town. I get to enjoy all this fun as long as Big V. doesn't get all cranky. He tends to do that from time to time. Cranky, but not disrespectful. All in all, time with Big V. is pretty fun. He and I laugh at the same stupid things. We tend to spend quite a lot of time laughing. I could really use a weekend with Big V. right now. I might loosen up or something (in more ways than one). A couple of years ago, Big V. invited me to go to this HUGELY IMPORTANT AWARDS THINGY with him because he won an award. I had to get a fancy dress and get all dolled up. It was fun. ESPN was recording the thing. It was very Hollywoodesque. Anyway, he is some kind of important. Oh, and he has good betting tips. I like to sit with him and watch the races. I like to occasionally bet, but I just hate fucking losing so much that I can't really get that into it. Anyway, Big V. has given me a little light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to while I am dealing with all this crap. Thank you BV. You rock!
