The Best Halloween EVER!!!!

Actually, I almost forgot it was Halloween. All the hurricane hoopla here has kept me from normal life so long, Halloween just sorta jumped up and scared me this morning. Work was crazy because there are so many people looking for temporary offices due to damage to their current sites. Anyway, I didn't get a lunch and worked like a beast all day. We aren't to the part where today becomes The Best Halloween EVER!!!! I left work at 5:30 even though I had a TON of work to do because I had to come home and feed the dog and cats (and my feet hurt from walking around in heels all day-I wanted shorts and flip flops). Well, there are still NO working lights on the way home, so it took a LONG time to get the 3 miles home. About 20 minutes. With the time change, it was already dark by 6:00 and at about that time, I was a few blocks from home. I was excited to see that the Publix had gotten power. I was hoping on my best Halloween hope that the power would be on at my apartment....and guess what? You got it! I am watching TV and blogging in my very own home. This is totally the best Halloween ever! Love you, Halloween!
