Hurricane Wilma Picures As Promised

This is a picture of my neighbors car with the bashed in windshield. The roofing tiles were flying all over the place. I went out in the eye and moved my car so I wouldn't lose any glass my self.

This is just a picture of the trees being pummelled by the winds.
I took this one during the eye of the storm...just before I moved my car to the other side of the parking lot.
I also took this one during the eye. See the blue car? No back glass now....
Now, this next one is after the storm was completely over. Both picture were taken in the same place, just from different angles.
This is what was left of the tree.....

Wild, huh? All of these next photos are of damage. The trees didn't fare too well in this one. You can't really tell, but there is a car under that tree.
This picture below is of what used to be a huge billboard with a Heineken add. Not so much a billboard anymore. This tree below was snapped like a twig.
This one came up roots and all.
This view used to be thick with trees. No more trees. And the trees that survived just don't have any leaves on them anymore.
This is the main street in and out of our apartment complex. Just about every tree went down right into the road.

But we survived. And the sound of the wind rushing through the trees has been replaced by the sound of chainsaws and generators. We still do not have power at home.

Holy crap, Batman.

Ya know, Michigan doesn't have hurricanes...

I think all Floridians should just move here.

Glad you're ok!
