Um, Could Somebody Turn The Lights On, Please?

Okay, here is the good news, we survived. My son was brought home by the police at around 5 a.m. before the storm hit. He slept during the ENTIRE storm.

Here is the bad news, I haven't had electricity (hot shower) since Monday at 7 a.m. I am at my office right now and we finally got electricity here at 11 a.m. The kid has run away, again. Right now I am more concerned with getting a hot shower and a hot meal than I am about the kid. I am learning that he will come home when he needs food and I just have to live with it. Noone here will help until he gets arrested. I am thinking that will be pretty soon, so why worry myself sick now.

For the record, McDonald's sounds like gourmet food right now. I know of only one open and the line is soooooo long. Looks like Funyuns and wine again tonight. Yummy.

I do have pictures of the storm.....yes during the storm. I will share them in the next day or two. I also have pictures of the damage and stuff that I am sure you are dying to see. Have a bit of patience and I promise you will understand how badly we were hit here. We didn't expect it at all. We expected a category 1 not a strong 2. Scary.

Well, I have to go now...curfew is in a few hours and I need to get a few things done. I will post tomorrow and hopefully I will remember to bring the camera with me so I can post the pics.
