This Year

This year has been pretty weird with the hurricane, the kid, and all the other problems I have been dealing with. There has been weird stuff happening but I didn't think that the time was right to talk about some of it. Stuff like the guy I went out with twice....nice guy. I liked him and we had a good time. He had a nice place on Boca Marina and had a nice boat that he took me and Crash out on one time. Just as I was beginning to like the guy, he goes and crashes his plane. Yes, you read that right, he was flying his plane to a golf tournament and somehow crashed. I saw it on the news. That was a pretty weird moment. It all happened before the hurricane. I have been so busy with hurricane repairs and backlash that I haven't had a chance to think about it much. He was such a nice guy. The night he took us out on the boat, he and I talked and talked about the garishness of the new homes being built and how we both preferred more clean lines and classic structures. We talked about a lot of things. I will miss him. I still have him on my Yahoo! Messenger buddy list and every day I sign on and think of him. Good thoughts, Michael Zinn. I am glad I met you.
