Perfect Little Squares-OF WINE! From TARGET!

My dad gave me an Ipod Nano (yes, another one) and $150 in gift certificates at Target. Since I already had received my Ipod from my now seems-like-a-million-miles-away-friend Marco, I gave it to Evil's Progeny ( a.k.a. Peyton spawn of all things maddening). Well, those little gift cards were calling my name yesterday. At about 3:00 I started listening to their little calls and they were telling me "SPEND ME! SPEND ME! SPEND ME!" So, not wanting to disappoint them, I headed over to Target. I shopped around the store for about and hour and a half. Y'all, they have a wine aisle. A whole aisle here in south Florida at Target is dedicated to good ol' vino. Yeah for Target!!!! In the aisle was a man who was restocking. I saw the cute little squares of wine and laughed. Literally laughed out loud. Not the LOL we claim while we are online, a full on HA HA HA. The wine guy (who is not a guy in red like the rest of the Target restockers, as if this gives more weight to what he says) said that some of the boxed wines were good. Then he went on to extoll their virtues such as they keep from going bad longer because it is a closed system and there are 4 (yes, I said 4) bottles of wine in each box. Well, I am a bit of a wine snob, but I started thinking....who cares what I drink when I am home alone playing with the Ipod? I might be able to save some money if I end up liking the stuff. So, I bought a square of Austrailian Shriaz and tried it. It wasn't the best wine on the planet, but it wasn't the I-am-going-to-puke-my-guts-up-and-spit-for-days bad either. I drank a few glasses while downloading ever more music to the Ipod. Looks like I will be taking a few dollars off of the wine budget in 2006. Yeah for Target, again!!!!
